Southward Shelving & Racking, one of NZ’s leading shelving and racking companies, is looking for a new team member.  We are a Cambridge based, family owned and operated business who believe in working hard, integrity, respect, and quality.

As part of the maintenance team you will carry out repairs and maintenance to steel racking systems. You will also be involved in the installation of racking projects when needed.

Requirements:

  • Reliable, eager to learn with a positive attitude
  • Experience in the use of various power/hand tools

Any of the following abilities, experience and/or qualifications will be an advantage, but not a requirement:

  • Welding experience
  • Forklift / EWP
  • Experience in Fabrication
  • Working at heights ticket
  • Fire extinguisher course
  • First Aid

We operate across New Zealand, so the ability to travel from time to time is important.  Our normal working hours are 7.30 to 16:30 but most mornings the team leave early to clients’ sites.
